Throughout East Georgia, ordinary people perform extraordinary lifesaving acts every day. The American Red Cross East Georgia Chapter needs your help to identify and recognize our local heroes for their selflessness and courage.
The 2008 Hometown Heroes Celebration in June will honor local heroes for using their First Aid, CPR, AED training, and other actions to save lives. Proceeds from the celebration benefit local disaster relief, programs and services.
Your Hometown Hero nominee may be a friend or family member, a neighbor, a firefighter, a member of the military or a police officer. The nominee can be a professionally trained life-saver or simply a Good Samaritan.
